I did a show at a folk festival in July of 2000, and thought it might make a suitable sequal to the first Pop Nightmare album. It is much shorter, clocking in at around 41 minutes, but has some OHD and Ian Tanner originals on it. This is the place to learn more about it!
PHASE TWO Info:
My good friend Ted from Ingersoll, Ontario, was put in charge of booking entertainment for that community's yearly folk festival. I was thrilled that he invited me, but I have to admit, I wondered if I was really the right person for the gig, since nothing I play really resembles Folk music! I chose to use the event as a means of recording some more original material, and hopefully entertain the crowd while I was at it, (and hey... make a few bucks too!)
I had a longer set planned, but my start time was set back by the day's events (surprise, surprise!), and I had another gig to get to later that night, so I had to cut a few songs from the list. Short and sweet! Here is the song list:
First Plane - OHD
Lilac Wine - Jeff Buckley
So Much Depends - OHD
This Is Hell - Elvis Costello
Louella's Kitchen - Ian Tanner
Dreamer's Ball - Queen
Purple Shades - OHD
Labelled With Love - Squeeze
Bye, Bye, Bye - JellyfishRecorded Live (to DAT this time!) July 8th/2000!
